Title: Hungry!

Prompt: Stuffed
"I'm hungry." Justin's stomach rumbled to underscore his point.
Brian grunted without opening his eyes. "You know where the kitchen is."
Justin rolled over and poked Brian's shoulder. "And what will I find there?"
Brian pulled a pillow over his face.
Justin laughed and got up. As he entered the kitchen, Rage meowed from the counter.
"I know. Yesterday we stuffed ourselves sick at Deb's, stuffed you on leftovers, and today it's…" he opened the refrigerator… "fat-free cream cheese and lettuce."
"Meeeeeewwwwww," said Rage, piteously.
Justin ran his hand down his cat's sleek back, and picked up his car keys.

Title: First snow

Prompt: First snow
Justin felt Brian lying against his back. There was just enough light that he could see snow falling outside their bedroom window, sugaring down onto the bare branches of the trees.
"The first snow," he murmured to Brian, then drifted back to sleep.
Then he woke up. He lay there for a long time, his eyes closed, but the dream was gone.
The floor felt cold as he walked to the window. There was a tree between his apartment building and the one next door; its leafless branches traced dark lines against the other building's brick wall.
It wasn't snowing.

Brian woke up to the sound of typing. A one-eyed squint revealed a naked blond snuggling with his laptop. “What in the hell are you doing?” He asked roughly, “It's 4 AM.”
“It's Cyber Monday!” Justin whispered excitedly.
Brian furrowed his brow, or at least tried to. It was a little early for facial expressions. “Unless that has something to do with porn, you and the laptop need to get out of my bed.”
“You always say Christmas is really all about commercialism, I'm just trying to prove you right.”
“Well Bah Humbug,then.” Brian muttered, slapping the laptop closed and diving on Justin.

Notes: Same timeline, shift in POV. And mention of an old, much missed friend. This thing took off on me, and I had to cut out almost 40 words. So, unbeta'd.
Lindsay stood at the backdoor and stripped each child, wrapping them in terry robes and leading them to the kitchen table, where hot chocolate awaited.
Marie entered, carrying her youngest, followed by Mel.
“I’m so glad you guys are here,” she said. “Dusty loved the holidays.”
“Do you remember that year when she and I were insane enough to do the Black Friday sales?”
Marie laughed. “That was a nightmare!”
“I told her she was nuts to go,” Mel added.
“I miss her still,” Linds said softly.
“Well, she’d want us to enjoy ourselves. No ‘bah humbugs’ in this house.”

My 7 day anniversary!
I didn't know about the QaF fandom, InsaneJournal, or even LiveJournal until a week ago. I found you because I was searching for QaF forums, having just started watching the series again and having no one to talk to about it. I first started watching from the pilot in 2002 on SBS tv here in Australia. Believe it or not I haven't seen season 5 or quite a bit of 4. So I have a lot to look forward to!
I posted in my journal about what it was like discovering QaF for the first time. I have also been posting in the Gusmas drabble challenge and having an absolute ball. This is such a wonderful place to be, I really have come home.
I'm a mum of a 1 year old and a 6 year old. I also study part time, but the semester's finished, which is why it was time to indulge in the warmth and colour of my darling boys and girls who I'd missed all these years.
Today I just finished watching season 1 for the 2nd time in my life. It was weird watching the last episode again. I couldn't look forward to prom because I knew what would happen. When I saw it the first time I was truly a mess (I was pregnant too, and it was like I was walking around with a few layers of skin missing, emotionally speaking). I couldn't stop crying. The way they played it, I thought Justin had died. Then I had to wait for ages until they screened the next season. It's so different coming to it knowing how it turns out. Less upsetting, but also less deep an experience.
Anyway, it's a joy to meet you all. Another lengthy post! Thank God for the constraints imposed by drabbles ^_^~

It's like I forgot how to multi-task. LOL
I'm rushing around trying to get ready for my vacation (I leave on Sunday). Eventually, I'll be at this fabulous spa for a few days before heading to my sister's.
I CANNOT WAIT.
However, before I can go, I have so much to do. All the presents have to be wrapped and packed for them for xmas and my nephew's first birthday. I have to get the pet sitter in here so I can show her what she needs to do with Champ.
I have to finish laundry, pack, finish decorating the house for the holidays (so it's all done when I get home) and somewhere in all that, I MUST get my hair done. Oh and did I mention that I have to work too?
So, instead of focusing on all of this, I ordered myself a bday present, the BLACKBERRY CURVE 8330 and I got it in red...to match my car. ROFL. I'm just kidding, it was either that or orange and since I'm a diva, I went with red.
WOOHOO my enhanced license came so I can easily cross the border into Canada and back, so it's official, I've got all I need for the trip.

Title: Where It’s Snowing

I took the idea from a drabble I wrote last year for the 100 drabbles jule1122 and I did for the 100th prompt in ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) qaf_drabbles. Sort of a prequel, if you will.
“George! You have to come see!” Emmett’s voice rang through the room as he hurried in to rouse George from his easy chair near the roaring fire. “First snow of the season!”
Emmett, dressed all in white right down to his fur-topped boots, was grinning from ear to ear as he handed George his coat and mittens. “It’s so beautiful,” Emmett exclaimed.
George let himself be pulled out into the yard and spent the rest of the afternoon with the love he never thought he’d find, building a snowman with a red scarf and a pickle for a nose.

“How is it possible you've been here for 8 hours and my dick has yet to make contact with your ass?” Brian asked sliding the loft door closed behind them.
“Poor baby, next time I'll just let you fuck me right on the table. We can use the gravy as lube. I'm sure Deb won't mind a bit”
“She's seen worse I'm sure. Someone need a drink.”
“What I need is you naked, but I'll settle for a Christmas Ale.”
Brian snorted. “Christmas Ale are you kidding me?”
“Yeah, it's like the holidays on Ice.”
